The Most Vulnerable to Cellphone Radiation - Young Children and Adolescents
According to a recent study carried out in Europe, four out of five Europeans believe that the various Governments should provide more information to parents, concerned at the unknown risks of electromagnetic waves from mobile devices and their own children.
Given that young people are one of the social groups most attracted to mobile phones, parents should be aware of the potential risks of the use of mobile phones to protect the health of their children.
In a publication available online, which has been launched by the Department of Health in the United Kingdom they report as follows......
"There is research that shows that the use of mobile phones affects the brain activity" and that "there are gaps in our scientific knowledge."
Thus, respondents believed that the places or environments most vulnerable and which need more protection are child nurseries, schools and hospitals.
On the other hand, according to a study carried out by Exradia, Europeans want government bodies to force manufacturers of mobile cell phones to take preventive measures to protect citizens from dangerous radiation.
This result clearly indicates that the expectations of Europeans are that their governments and public authorities should act proactively against the risks of wireless devices.
Consumers have made clear that the protective measures should be installed by operators such as Vodafone, T-Mobile or Movistar while over 50% of Europeans agreed protection technologies should be incorporated as standard on the transmitter antenna.
Finally, 14% of respondents believe that governments should provide technologies to protect users.
